Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented female Accountant with 2 to 3 years of professional experience to join our finance team. The successful candidate will oversee daily accounting functions, manage financial records, and ensure compliance with Saudi VAT and ZATCA regulations. This is a full-time position reporting directly to the Finance Manager.

Key Responsibilities

The accountant will be responsible for managing daily transactions and ensuring all financial entries are accurately recorded in the ERP system. Tasks include preparing and reviewing journal entries, handling accounts payable and receivable, and regularly reconciling bank, vendor, and customer accounts. The role also involves monitoring cash flow, tracking payment schedules, and preparing comprehensive financial reports on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.

Additional duties include supporting payroll reviews, maintaining clear documentation for contracts and invoices, coordinating with external auditors, and ensuring all accounting activities conform to company policies and internal controls. The candidate will also prepare VAT returns and liaise with tax advisors as needed, alongside providing financial analysis and recommendations to support management decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2 to 3 years of hands-on accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of financial statement preparation, reconciliations, VAT, and general ledger management.
• Proficiency with ERP and accounting software such as Odoo, SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks.
• Solid knowledge of Saudi VAT laws and ZATCA compliance requirements.
• Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and report generation.
• Excellent organizational abilities and close attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills in both Arabic and English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in Saudi Arabia or the GCC region.
• Professional accounting certifications like SOCPA, ACCA, CMA, or CPA are a plus.
• Background in contracting, trading, manufacturing, or service sectors is advantageous.
