Job Overview

ELAF Group of Companies, based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to manage financial records across its multiple business entities. This role requires thorough knowledge of accounting principles, Saudi financial regulations, and the ability to handle diverse accounting tasks independently.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining complete and accurate accounting records for several companies within the ELAF Group. Daily duties include processing transactions, bookkeeping, and conducting bank reconciliations. You will prepare financial statements such as Profit & Loss reports, balance sheets, and cash flow statements regularly. Additionally, managing accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and expense tracking are essential parts of this role.

The role also involves monitoring project costs, assessing profitability, ensuring VAT reporting in compliance with ZATCA regulations, and preparing documentation for audits. Producing timely and precise monthly and annual financial reports for management will be critical. Maintaining strict financial controls, confidentiality, and compliance with company policies is mandatory.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Valid and transferable Saudi Iqama with current residence in Jeddah
• In-depth understanding of accounting procedures and financial reporting standards
• Proficiency with accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Solid experience handling Saudi VAT, ZATCA compliance, and related financial regulations
• Ability to independently manage accounting for multiple companies simultaneously
• Familiarity with contracting and diversified business sectors is preferred
• Willingness to work extended hours as required to meet deadlines
