Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accounts Officer to join our finance team in Jeddah. This full-time position plays a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The incumbent will support the finance department through a variety of accounting tasks that contribute to the efficient management of the company’s financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of financial duties, including:

• Maintaining precise financial records and ledgers
• Managing accounts payable and receivable processes
• Preparing invoices, purchase orders, and expense documentation
• Reconciling bank statements and monitoring cash flow activities
• Providing assistance with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
• Ensuring adherence to company policies and relevant financial regulations
• Supporting audit procedures and tax filing requirements

Required Skills and Qualifications

Candidates should meet the following criteria to be considered:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• Between 2 to 5 years of experience in accounting or financial roles
• Hands-on experience with accounting software such as Tally, Odoo, or ERP systems
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Keen attention to detail along with strong analytical skills
• Effective communication and excellent organizational capabilities

Preferred Skills

• Previous experience working specifically within the finance sector
• Knowledge of VAT regulations applicable in Saudi Arabia
