Job Overview

GS IT Infrastructure is seeking an experienced IT Procurement Specialist to join our team based in Dubai Silicon Oasis. The ideal candidate will have over 2.5 years of experience in the system integration industry and a deep understanding of the entire procurement lifecycle. This role focuses on sourcing ICT, AV, ELV, and AI products and solutions by working closely with distributors, vendors, and channel partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage procurement activities for ICT equipment and related technical products ensuring timely and cost-effective purchasing.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key vendors and distributors, negotiating the best price and delivery terms.
• Source and select products from leading ICT brands such as HP, Cisco, Dell, Fortinet, Sophos, Lenovo, Synology, Ubiquiti (UniFi), Huawei, Safetica, Buffalo, and HP Aruba (HPE).
• Coordinate with internal teams to understand technical requirements and align procurement accordingly.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and maintain accurate records of purchasing transactions.

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum of 2.5 years’ experience in IT procurement within the system integration or technology sector.
• Hands-on experience with ICT, AV, ELV, and AI product sourcing.
• Familiarity with top ICT brands and the ability to identify quality products and cost-effective solutions.
• Strong negotiation, vendor management, and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage procurement workflows efficiently.
