Gorica Group is seeking a skilled Purchase Engineer to join their team in Dubai’s Jebel Ali Industrial Area. This role requires managing the full purchasing and procurement cycle, ensuring seamless vendor negotiation and supply chain management within a dynamic industrial environment. The ideal candidate will bring strong knowledge of SAP and procurement systems and excel in operating independently under fast-moving conditions.

Key Responsibilities

The Purchase Engineer will be responsible for overseeing procurement activities to support heavy metal fabrication and oil & gas projects. Core duties include managing vendor relationships, negotiating contracts to secure favorable terms, and maintaining supplier performance standards. Expertise in using SAP software to process and track purchases is also expected to ensure efficient purchasing workflows.

Required Skills and Experience

• Diploma or degree in Engineering or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of purchasing or procurement experience within the UAE market
• Background in heavy metal fabrication or oil and gas industries is highly preferred
• Proven ability to negotiate with vendors and manage supplier relationships effectively
• Proficiency with SAP procurement modules and other related systems

Work Environment

This position is based in a fast-paced industrial setting, requiring the ability to work independently while handling multiple procurement tasks efficiently. The role demands attention to detail and strong organizational skills to meet project deadlines and procurement targets.
