Job Overview

We are currently seeking dedicated car drivers to join Talabat’s delivery team in Dubai. This opportunity provides drivers with a company vehicle to carry out their daily deliveries efficiently across various emirates, including Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi, and Al Ain.

Key Responsibilities

As a Talabat car driver, you will be responsible for timely pickup and delivery of orders, adhering to cash on delivery policies, and maintaining inventory clearance according to Talabat’s standards. Drivers must follow all traffic rules, uphold corporate dress code standards including branded uniforms and equipment, and avoid carrying unauthorized passengers.

Compensation and Work Schedule

Payment rates vary by emirate and delivery activity, ranging from AED 4.75 to AED 6.25 per pickup and drop-off, with total delivery fees up to AED 11.50 per order. Additionally, distance pay is offered at AED 0.30 per kilometer starting from zero kilometers. Shifts involve an 11-hour duty period broken into two shifts of 5 hours each, with a 1-hour break. Drivers are expected to work 27 days per month with one weekly off day.

Requirements and Penalties

Applicants should be light vehicle drivers with valid licenses. Candidates on freelance visas will follow a labor card process with health insurance and card charges borne by the candidate. Talabat enforces strict penalties for late login, no-shows, early logout, and contract non-compliance, including fines and a potential AED 1500 exit fee if leaving before six months without prior notice.

Work Environment and Policies

Delivery zones and work areas will be assigned by Talabat based on current demand. Drivers must wear the official Talabat branded attire provided, including T-shirts, trousers, caps, shoes, and delivery bags. Traffic fines such as Salik and parking fees are the driver’s responsibility. Drivers must comply with all company policies and standards for professional conduct.
