Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Air Freight Operations In-Charge to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of hands-on experience managing air freight operations with a strong understanding of dangerous goods handling. This role involves coordinating shipments, managing documentation, and ensuring smooth import and export air cargo processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate daily air freight operations ensuring timely and accurate shipment handling.
• Manage the handling and documentation of Dangerous Goods (DG) shipments following regulatory requirements.
• Ensure compliance with air cargo procedures, including utilizing Emirates SkyCargo and Calogi Digital Platform systems.
• Coordinate with customs clearance and other relevant authorities to facilitate smooth transit.
• Prepare and review shipment documentation, including packing, labeling, and DG certifications.
• Communicate effectively with clients, carriers, and internal teams to resolve issues and avoid delays.

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum of 2 years experience in air freight operations, preferably within the UAE freight forwarding or logistics sector.
• Strong knowledge of import and export air freight processes.
• Expertise in Dangerous Goods handling, including packaging, labeling, and regulatory compliance.
• Familiarity with Emirates SkyCargo services and the Calogi Digital Platform.
• Solid understanding of customs clearance procedures related to air freight shipments.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and comfortable using digital freight management tools.

Additional Information

This position requires an immediate joiner. The offered salary ranges between 3500 to 4000 AED per month. The job location is in Dubai, UAE.
