Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced System Architect based in Dubai to lead software architecture projects. The ideal candidate will have over six years of specialized experience in software architecture and a strong background in software development. This role demands a technically focused individual with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills who can take full ownership of complex projects with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

The System Architect will be responsible for designing and presenting software architecture using various diagramming techniques. You will work extensively with microservices and event-driven architectures, managing and integrating queuing systems such as RabbitMQ and Kafka. The role includes database design with MySQL and MongoDB, as well as leveraging technologies like Elasticsearch and Redis. A clear understanding of cloud-native applications, Kubernetes, and service mesh is essential to successfully architect scalable and efficient solutions.

Required Skills

• Minimum 6 years of experience specifically in software architecture
• At least 5 years of hands-on software development experience
• Strong technical mindset with a deep analytical approach
• Critical thinking and adept problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to articulate architectural plans
• Proficiency in microservices and event-driven design patterns
• Experience with message queuing systems such as RabbitMQ and Kafka
• Solid understanding of database design, especially MySQL and MongoDB
• Familiarity with Elasticsearch and Redis technologies
• Knowledge of cloud-native development, container orchestration via Kubernetes, and service mesh concepts

Preferred Qualifications

A strong attention to detail and the ability to deliver architectural solutions independently will set candidates apart. Experience in creating comprehensive architectural diagrams and documentation is highly valued.
