Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned IT Project Manager to oversee and deliver complex, multi-disciplinary projects within the retail and supply chain sectors. This role demands strong leadership skills and the ability to manage projects efficiently, ensuring alignment with strategic goals, timelines, and budget constraints.

Key Responsibilities

The IT Project Manager will be responsible for defining, planning, and executing various IT projects. You will develop and maintain detailed project plans covering objectives, technologies, system specifications, schedules, funding, and staffing. Managing project risk assessments, budgeting, and status reporting are critical components of this role. You will coordinate project teams to ensure tasks are assigned clearly and deadlines met, while maintaining effective communication with internal stakeholders and third-party vendors. Ensuring the project team has the necessary skills and certifications to deliver high-quality work is also a vital part of this position.

Required Skills and Experience

The ideal candidate will have 8 to 10 years in IT with a minimum of 5 years focused on project management and strategic planning. A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is required, with a master’s degree viewed favorably. PMP or PMI certification is essential. Experience with end-to-end project delivery in the retail industry and knowledge of supply chain and omni-channel retail domains will be a significant advantage. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management frameworks is also expected.
