Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Design Engineer to join our team based in the UAE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing electrical design drawings, conducting necessary calculations, and coordinating various aspects of projects to ensure technical accuracy and compliance. This is an urgent requirement with immediate joining preferred.

Key Responsibilities

The Electrical Design Engineer will play a vital role in designing and overseeing electrical systems for different projects. Primary duties include:

• Creating detailed electrical design drawings and compiling technical submissions.
• Designing power distribution, lighting, low current, and Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems.
• Coordinating efficiently with MEP teams, consultants, and clients to ensure seamless project execution.
• Preparing load calculations, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and material submittals.
• Ensuring all designs comply with UAE standards and meet specific project requirements.
• Providing technical support during project implementation and resolving any design-related issues promptly.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and have 3 to 5 years of relevant experience within the UAE market, preferably in similar roles. Proficiency in AutoCAD and other electrical design software is essential. Familiarity with DEWA and ADDC regulations as well as UAE electrical standards is highly advantageous. Excellent communication skills and the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders effectively are also required to succeed in this role.
