Job Overview

We are urgently seeking a skilled Project Engineer with expertise in food service equipment and maintenance to join a dynamic team in Bahrain. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing complete project lifecycles, from design to handover, focused on installation and upkeep of commercial kitchen equipment. This role demands strong technical knowledge, project management capabilities, and experience coordinating with multiple stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

The Project Engineer will oversee end-to-end project execution including preparing technical drawings, layouts, and bills of quantities for food service equipment. Collaborating closely with consultants, architects, clients, suppliers, and contractors will be crucial for finalizing design and ensuring smooth installation processes. Monitoring budgets, schedules, and resource allocation will be essential to meet project goals. The role also includes conducting site inspections, managing snag lists, and handling final project documentation. Providing technical support during tender and procurement phases as well as mentoring junior engineers form important aspects of this position.

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 8 years of hands-on experience managing commercial kitchen equipment projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and experience with technical drawings and BOQs.
• Strong skills in project management and site supervision.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills with diverse stakeholders.
• GCC experience is mandatory.
• Familiarity with international kitchen equipment brands such as Hobart, Rational, and Electrolux.
• PMP certification or equivalent is a plus.
• Experience working in hospitality, food and beverage chains, hospitals, or central kitchen setups.
