Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive Junior Technical Office Engineer to join our team working on the prestigious Dubai Metro Blue Line project. This role is ideal for candidates with a Civil Engineering background and experience in technical office operations, particularly within rail or metro infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting project execution through preparation and review of engineering documents. Daily duties include preparing and updating engineering drawings using AutoCAD, assessing IFC and shop drawings for constructability, and coordinating with site and QA/QC teams. Additional tasks involve compiling technical reports and documentation, assisting with technical presentations, and performing quantity take-offs and measurement for various construction elements.

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• At least 3 years of experience in technical office functions, with a preference for those experienced in rail or metro sectors.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Adobe Acrobat for detailed engineering drawings and documentation.
• Basic knowledge of BIM processes and Autodesk Revit is desirable.
• Experience in preparing quantity take-offs and measurement sheets related to reinforced concrete, architectural finishes, and utilities.
• Ability to read and interpret structural, architectural, and utility drawings accurately.
• Strong command of Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Effective communication skills, with strong organizational and time management abilities to meet deadlines under pressure.
