Job Overview

We are currently seeking a skilled MEP Site Mechanical Engineer with 5 to 7 years of comprehensive experience working on MEP projects within the UAE, specifically in HVAC, plumbing, and fire fighting systems. This role is based in Dubai and requires a strong ability to manage site execution, coordinate with multiple teams, prepare shop drawings, and obtain necessary approvals from MEP authorities.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and executing mechanical engineering activities on site, ensuring all work aligns with project specifications and standards. This includes coordinating with contractors and consultants, reviewing and preparing technical drawings, and facilitating smooth communication with authorities for approvals. The role demands hands-on involvement in site supervision and problem-solving to maintain project timelines and quality standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering is mandatory.
• 5-7 years of proven experience in MEP site mechanical engineering within the UAE construction industry.
• Expertise in HVAC, plumbing, and fire fighting systems installation and commissioning.
• Strong understanding of site execution processes and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Experience preparing shop drawings and coordinating project documentation.
• Familiarity with local MEP authority regulations and approval processes.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Work Environment

This position requires the candidate to be available for immediate joining and preferably already located in the UAE. The job involves working closely with multidisciplinary teams on construction sites in Dubai, ensuring smooth project delivery and adherence to safety standards.
