Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead and oversee all QA/QC activities on-site, ensuring that fit-out construction works meet project specifications, drawings, and company quality standards. This role plays a vital part in monitoring workmanship quality throughout the project lifecycle, from initial inspections to final handover.

Key Responsibilities

The Construction Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing project-specific quality assurance and control plans, including Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and procedural guidelines. Regular site inspections and audits must be conducted to identify any non-conformances, with corrective actions enforced promptly. Reviewing and approving material submissions, mock-ups, and samples prior to installation is essential to maintain high standards.

Coordination with project managers, engineers, consultants, and subcontractors ensures consistent quality delivery. The role requires overseeing finishing works, particularly joinery, finishes, and detailed fit-out tasks. The manager also leads snagging and de-snagging procedures, guaranteeing that all final quality checks meet client expectations before project handover.

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 10 to 15 years of proven QA/QC experience within fit-out and construction sectors, ideally within the UAE market.
• Hands-on expertise in interior fit-out processes including finishes and joinery installations.
• Proficient in conducting inspections, audits, and managing project handover formalities.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD is essential; familiarity with QA/QC documentation systems is a plus.
