Job Overview

China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (CCECC) is seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor (Estimator) to join the team in Dubai. This full-time role focuses on the pre-contract phase of road and infrastructure projects, requiring expertise in cost estimation, tender evaluation, and Bill of Quantities (BOQ) preparation.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates and BOQs for road construction projects. Key duties include conducting quantity take-offs, performing rate analysis, and evaluating quotes from subcontractors and suppliers. They will prepare pre-contract budgets and support contract documentation and commercial assessments. Collaborating closely with design, planning, and procurement teams will be essential during the pre-contract stage. They will also identify project risks and propose value engineering solutions to optimize costs. Additionally, the role involves assisting with tender submissions and providing clarifications as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying
• At least 5 years of experience working on road construction projects, with a preference for pre-contract exposure
• Proficiency in Excel and quantity surveying software tools
• Strong abilities in cost estimation, BOQ development, and rate analysis
• Excellent analytical thinking combined with clear communication skills
