Job Overview

Dubai Modern Education School is seeking a passionate and experienced Homeroom Teacher to join our dedicated team. This role involves instructing students from Kindergarten through Grade 5, delivering high-quality education based on the US Curriculum. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching core subjects including English, Mathematics, and Science while fostering a positive and engaging learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

As a Homeroom Teacher, you will be expected to:

• Plan and deliver lessons aligned with US curriculum standards to students from KG to Grade 5.
• Create a nurturing classroom atmosphere that supports student development and enthusiasm for learning.
• Utilize educational technology tools such as Google Workspace, Seesaw, and ClassDojo to enhance teaching and communication.
• Monitor and assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
• Collaborate with colleagues and school leadership to maintain consistent educational standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary or Early Childhood Education is required; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• Valid UAE teaching license or certification in Elementary Education is mandatory.
• A minimum of 2 years teaching experience in a US curriculum-based school within the UAE.
• Strong proficiency with educational technology platforms and tools to enhance classroom engagement.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills with a student-centered approach.
