Job Overview

Gulf Model School in Dubai is looking for a dedicated and qualified Head of Mathematics to lead its academic team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced educator with a passion for mathematics and strong leadership skills to guide and inspire the department towards academic excellence.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the Mathematics Department, managing and mentoring the teaching staff, and ensuring high standards of student achievement. Core duties include developing effective lesson plans and assessments, implementing departmental strategies, and fostering an environment of innovation in the classroom.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mathematics
• Teaching qualification such as B.Ed or PGCE preferred
• Proven leadership experience within a school setting
• Strong subject knowledge with a solid teaching background
• Exceptional communication, organizational, and classroom management capabilities
• Experience with the UAE curriculum is considered a plus
