Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Freelance Quantity Surveyor based in Dubai with a strong background in the UAE/GCC construction industry. The ideal candidate will bring at least 6 years of hands-on experience in quantity surveying, including bill of quantities (BOQ), estimation, tender preparation, and cost management across various projects. This freelance position offers an immediate start for a detail-oriented professional ready to contribute effectively to ongoing construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate BOQs, conducting quantity take-offs, evaluating tenders, managing valuations and variations, and overseeing cost control throughout the project lifecycle. Additionally, the role requires handling final accounts and ensuring all financial aspects of construction projects are diligently monitored and reported.

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum of 6 years’ experience in quantity surveying within the UAE or GCC construction sector
• Proficiency in BOQ preparation, estimation, and tender evaluation
• Strong knowledge of cost control procedures and final account settlement
• Ability to manage valuations and variations effectively
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Immediate availability to join the project is preferred
