Hamdan Global Dubai Office is looking to hire an experienced General Accountant to join their finance team immediately. This role offers a salary of AED 5,500 and focuses on maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts receivable and payable, and ensuring compliance with UAE financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities

The General Accountant will be responsible for a variety of accounting tasks, including customer invoicing, posting receipts, and handling credit control with timely follow-ups on outstanding balances. The role requires booking and verifying vendor invoices, processing payments, and reconciling supplier accounts.

In addition, the accountant will post journal entries, maintain the chart of accounts, and perform bank reconciliations while tracking cash flow and monitoring company accounts. The position involves preparing accruals, prepayments, depreciation, and closing entries, as well as generating management reports.

Supporting VAT return filing and ensuring compliance with the Federal Tax Authority are integral parts of this role. The successful candidate will also provide necessary documentation and schedules for both internal and external audits, while strictly adhering to company policies and UAE financial laws. Other duties may be assigned by the Financial Controller or COO.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• At least 3 years of UAE accounting experience, preferably within recruitment companies or auditing firms.
• A Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance is mandatory.
• Part qualification in professional certifications such as ACMA, ACCA, or CA Inter will be advantageous.
• Proficient hands-on experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger management, and financial reporting.
• Mandatory experience with Tally ERP software.
• Availability for an on-site interview in Dubai and immediate joining capability.
