We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant fluent in Arabic to join a respected government entity in Dubai, UAE. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in general ledger accounting, financial reporting, and month-end closing processes. Familiarity with IPSAS standards is desirable, alongside strong capabilities in financial reconciliations, trial balance, VAT, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Accountant, your primary responsibilities will include maintaining accurate general ledger records, preparing detailed financial reports, and managing month-end closing activities. You will also handle financial reconciliations and ensure the integrity of trial balances. Ensuring compliance with VAT regulations and other relevant financial regulations will be an essential part of your role. Experience with IPSAS implementation and adherence will be considered an advantage.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Fluency in Arabic is mandatory.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field.
• Strong expertise in general ledger accounting and financial reporting.
• Experience with month-end closing and financial reconciliations.
• Knowledge of VAT regulations and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Familiarity with IPSAS is preferred but not mandatory.
