Milaya Capital LTD is seeking a skilled Senior Accountant to join their team in Dubai. This full-time, morning shift position calls for a candidate with a minimum of three years of accounting experience. The role involves managing key financial processes while ensuring compliance with UAE financial regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for overseeing all financial transactions and maintaining the general ledger accurately. Duties include managing both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions, conducting bank reconciliations, and preparing financial reports. The role also requires adherence to IFRS, VAT laws, and local regulatory requirements. Additionally, the candidate will assist with budgeting, forecasting, and conducting detailed financial analyses to support business decisions.

Required Skills and Experience

• Strong understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and VAT compliance specific to the UAE.
• Familiarity with UAE accounting regulations and financial reporting standards.
• Proficient in ERP systems and advanced use of Microsoft Excel for financial modeling and reporting.
• Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities to handle complex accounting tasks.
• Experience in capital markets or investment accounting is considered an advantage, enhancing the candidate’s value to the company.
