Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Accountant to join our dynamic team in Dubai, specializing in managing comprehensive financial operations for a prominent Food & Beverage client. This on-site position offers an excellent opportunity to apply your accounting expertise, particularly with Odoo ERP systems, within a fast-paced environment. Immediate joiners are highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

As an Accountant, you will handle end-to-end accounting functions including managing the General Ledger, Accounts Payable and Receivable, Fixed Assets, and Bank Reconciliations. You will be responsible for preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements while ensuring all records are meticulously maintained within the Odoo ERP system.

Your role will also involve monitoring daily sales and cash collection activities, supervising supplier payments and expense management, conducting inventory reconciliations, and performing detailed food cost analysis. You will reconcile POS sales data with accounting records and bank statements to ensure accuracy.

Compliance with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax laws is crucial, as you will also prepare VAT returns and assist in audit processes. Additionally, you will support budgeting, forecasting, and management of cash flow, contributing to continuous improvement of financial procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• 2 to 5 years of professional accounting experience, preferably within the UAE market.
• Proficiency in using Odoo ERP for financial management.
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations and compliance.
• Experience in the Food & Beverage or Hospitality sector is an advantage.
• Solid grasp of inventory accounting and cost control methods.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
