We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join a dynamic finance team in Dubai, UAE. This role involves managing financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and supporting the accounting department with precision and integrity. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in ERP or accounting software, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Key Responsibilities

The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial documentation, including invoices, receipts, and expense reports. You will enter financial transactions into our accounting systems with high accuracy, perform detailed variance analyses on daily reports, and identify any discrepancies in reported financial data. Supporting the Finance & Accounting Manager on various projects and ad hoc assignments is also a crucial part of the role. Additionally, you will help ensure compliance with financial policies and maintain organized records for audit purposes.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Experience with ERP or accounting software is essential, with preference given to candidates familiar with FOCUS software.
• Strong command of Microsoft Excel is mandatory.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in financial record keeping.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with the finance team and other departments.
• Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment.
• A proactive approach with a skeptical mindset towards financial data and discrepancies.
