Cocolily Chocolates is seeking a skilled Accountant to join their team in Dubai on a full-time basis. This role requires a candidate with a minimum of two years of accounting experience in the UAE, bringing strong expertise in bookkeeping, VAT compliance, and financial reporting. The ideal applicant will have a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline and must possess excellent organizational and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

The Accountant will be responsible for the accurate management of daily accounting operations, including bookkeeping and financial record maintenance. Key duties include processing invoices, payments, expense tracking, and bank reconciliations. Additionally, the role involves preparing VAT returns, assisting with payroll tasks, and supporting monthly financial reporting. Coordination with suppliers and collaboration with internal departments are essential to ensure smooth financial operations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum two years of accounting experience within the UAE market
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles, VAT regulations, and financial reporting standards in the UAE
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Meticulous attention to detail and strong numerical competency
• Good communication and organizational abilities
• Experience in F&B or retail sectors is an advantage
• Candidates currently based in the UAE will be given preference
