Job Overview

Hawel Trading & Contracting Company is seeking a seasoned Procurement Specialist to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role involves managing procurement activities with a strong emphasis on sourcing materials efficiently within the local market. The position is offered on a two-year contract with the possibility of extension.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and procure materials by leveraging extensive supplier networks across Saudi Arabia.
• Negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and favorable terms.
• Manage procurement processes to ensure timely sourcing and delivery of goods.
• Maintain strong relationships with local vendors and ensure compliance with company standards.

Required Skills and Experience

• At least 10 years of proven experience in procurement, preferably within the Saudi market.
• Solid knowledge of materials sourcing and supplier networks specific to Saudi Arabia.
• Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively and manage procurement operations smoothly.
• Engineering background preferred, especially in Mechanical Engineering or related disciplines.

Additional Details

The ideal candidate will be based locally with the flexibility to operate in Riyadh. Preference will be given to candidates available for local transfer.
