We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Purchaser / Procurement Specialist to join our trading company in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. This position offers flexibility with options for either part-time or full-time employment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dealing with both local and international suppliers and a thorough understanding of import procedures specific to Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities

The role involves sourcing and negotiating with suppliers from both domestic and international markets. You will be responsible for preparing and managing purchase orders, handling import documentation accurately, and coordinating shipment logistics to ensure timely delivery. Maintaining excellent supplier relationships and managing delivery schedules effectively will also be crucial. Ensuring competitive pricing while maintaining high product quality are essential aspects of this position.

Required Skills and Experience

• Proven track record in purchasing or procurement roles, preferably within trading companies
• In-depth knowledge of international supply chains as well as Saudi Arabia’s import regulations and customs clearance processes
• Strong negotiation capabilities and excellent communication skills
• Familiarity with shipping documentation and import formalities
