Job Overview

We are seeking two experienced Coating Quality Control Inspectors with ARAMCO approval to join projects based in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. Ideal candidates must hold valid ARAMCO SAP numbers and demonstrate strong expertise in coating inspections for both onshore and offshore industrial projects. Key Responsibilities

The Coating QC Inspector will be responsible for comprehensive inspection tasks including monitoring surface preparation, blasting, and coating application processes. You will identify coating defects, ensure compliance with ARAMCO specifications, and verify contractor adherence to quality standards. Your duties also include reading dry and wet film thickness (DFT/WFT), performing holiday testing, measuring surface profiles, and inspecting mixing and application procedures. Preparing daily inspection reports and maintaining QC documentation is essential, along with effective communication with client representatives.

Required Skills and Certifications

• ARAMCO approval with a valid SAP number
• Successful completion of Coating/Painting Inspection CBT
• Prior ARAMCO approval as a Coating QC Inspector
• Minimum of 5 to 10 years’ experience in industrial coating inspection
• In-depth knowledge of ARAMCO standards such as SAES, SAMSS, SATIP, and SAIC
• Proficiency in surface preparation techniques and coating defect identification
• Technical skills including DFT/WFT reading, holiday testing, profile measurement, and inspection of coating application
• Strong report writing and documentation skills
• Excellent communication skills for client interaction
• Required certifications: NACE Coating Inspector Level 2 (minimum) or SSPC PCI Level 2/3 or BGAS Grade 2/Grade 1
