Job Overview

Gulf Technical Factory, an established engineering equipment manufacturer based in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, is seeking an experienced IT/ERP Implementation Manager to lead the coordination and management of ERP system implementation and ongoing IT operations. This role focuses on overseeing Microsoft Dynamics AX/365 Finance and Operations deployment, ensuring seamless integration, effective user adoption, and continuous system enhancement for maximum organizational benefit.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, conducting fit-gap analyses, and collaborating closely with end users to gather detailed specifications. You will participate in functional design reviews and translate complex business needs into practical configurations within Microsoft Dynamics AX or Dynamics 365. Managing data migration activities, including uploads and reconciliation, will be a critical aspect of ensuring a smooth transition.

Additional duties include training and supporting end users across all modules, guiding pilot testing phases, and ensuring timely go-live of the ERP system with accurate data and balances. Coordinating with the ERP vendor and internal department managers to maintain timeline adherence and data integrity is essential. You will also advise management on potential improvements to optimize reporting, control processes, and cost efficiency.

Moreover, the role requires comprehensive management of the IT department, including responsibilities for ERP technical administration, security, backup, network services, hardware management, report development, and general user support, thus ensuring a reliable and secure IT environment aligned with business needs.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant (CA), B.Tech in IT, or an equivalent qualification with at least 5 years of hands-on experience implementing Microsoft Dynamics AX or Oracle JDE in medium to large manufacturing organizations.
• Strong expertise in Finance or Supply Chain modules of MS Dynamics AX/365 is highly preferred.
• Proven ability to conduct fit-gap analysis and translate business requirements into effective ERP configurations.
• Experience with data migration, report development, and post-implementation support.
• MS Certified Solutions Professional (CSP) certification is required.
• Prior experience working as a functional or technical lead or consultant within an ERP service provider company is considered an advantage.
