Job Overview

We are currently looking for a skilled Mechanical Engineer with a focus on Quality Control to join our team in Nariyah and Rumah, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have at least eight years of hands-on experience in quality assurance and inspection related to mechanical systems and equipment. This position demands strict adherence to project standards, industry regulations, and quality assurance protocols throughout all site activities.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough QA/QC inspections overseeing mechanical works such as piping, equipment installation, and fabrication tasks. You will ensure all operations comply with the designated project specifications, relevant codes, and industry standards. The role also involves reviewing and approving material submittals, inspection test plans (ITPs), and method statements. On-site inspections are a core part of the job, requiring close collaboration with contractors to address and resolve any quality-related concerns. You will also prepare and manage QC documentation including reports and records while witnessing critical tests such as pressure and hydrotesting to ensure complete and accurate documentation. Identifying non-conformities and implementing effective corrective and preventive measures will be essential. Additionally, liaising with clients, consultants, and third-party inspectors will be expected for smooth project execution.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering is mandatory.
• At least 8 years of experience in QA/QC specifically within mechanical engineering projects, preferably in oil & gas or construction sectors.
• In-depth knowledge of international standards and codes including ASME, API, and ASTM.
• Proven experience in inspection, testing procedures, and maintaining detailed documentation.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to prepare clear reports and coordinate effectively across teams.
• Possession of certifications such as CSWIP, API, or ISO is highly advantageous.
