Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled Civil Planning Engineer with 5 to 10 years of experience, particularly with SABIC or other industrial projects, to join our team in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project scheduling, construction planning, and progress monitoring to support the successful delivery of complex engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities

The role involves developing, updating, and maintaining detailed project schedules and plans. You will monitor timelines closely, identify potential delays early, and coordinate closely with construction teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure smooth execution. Preparing progress reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis and suggesting corrective actions when needed will be fundamental to this position.

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Five to ten years of relevant experience, preferably working on SABIC or similar industrial projects.
• Proficient in project planning and scheduling software such as Primavera P6 or MS Project.
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing and methodologies to effectively plan and monitor project stages.
• Experience preparing baseline schedules, progress reports, and recovery plans.
• Excellent communication skills for effective coordination with diverse project stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience within the petrochemical or heavy industrial sectors is highly desirable. Strong analytical skills and the ability to deliver clear, concise reports will help in optimizing project performance.
