Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and hands-on Mechanical Engineer with extensive experience in industrial maintenance, mechanical design, and heavy machinery. This role focuses on practical fabrication, troubleshooting, and optimizing equipment within a production or plant environment. The successful candidate will contribute to enhancing mechanical systems that support cranes, hydraulic units, conveyors, pipe handling machines, and custom-built industrial equipment.

Key Responsibilities

The role includes designing, modifying, and improving mechanical systems to boost efficiency, safety, and operational reliability. You will create 3D models and detailed fabrication drawings using SolidWorks and AutoCAD, managing the entire design process from concept through execution. Preparing Bills of Materials (BOM) and working closely with workshop teams to ensure accurate implementation are essential tasks. Additionally, you will troubleshoot mechanical issues and develop cost-effective solutions to maintain smooth production flows.

Required Skills and Experience

• Strong proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD, including 3D modeling and shop drawing preparation
• Hands-on experience with hydraulic systems, rotating equipment, and CNC machining
• Know-how in workshop practices such as welding and assembly
• Ability to manage projects from initial design through fabrication and installation
• Proven troubleshooting skills and a proactive approach to resolving mechanical problems
