Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic Sales Engineer to join our Fabrication and Mechanical divisions based in Dammam. Ideal candidates will have a solid background in mechanical or civil engineering, or business and sales with relevant experience. This role emphasizes strong sales acumen combined with technical knowledge of metal fabrication and workshop processes.

Key Responsibilities

The Sales Engineer will be responsible for identifying and developing business opportunities within the fabrication and construction sectors. You will provide accurate quotations, maintain client relationships, and negotiate deals effectively to close sales. Coordination with clients and internal teams is essential to ensure project requirements are met and to deliver quality solutions.

Required Skills and Knowledge

• Sound understanding of metal fabrication materials including steel, aluminum, and stainless steel
• Familiarity with workshop processes such as cutting, welding, bending, and installation
• Ability to read and interpret drawings; basic AutoCAD skills are advantageous
• Knowledge of curtain wall systems and aluminum works, along with material finishes
• Strong communication and negotiation capabilities tailored to project-based sales
• Proven ability to prepare quotations, follow up with clients, and successfully close deals

Experience and Qualifications

Applicants should have a diploma or bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Business with a strong sales background. A minimum of 2 to 5 years of sales experience within fabrication workshops, construction, or related sectors is required. Prior experience in Saudi Arabia, preferably within the Dammam, Khobar, and Jubail areas, is highly valued. Having an established network of contacts including contractors and consultants will be beneficial.
