Job Overview

Reliance Steel Industries Company is seeking a skilled QA/QC Manager with a strong mechanical engineering background to oversee quality assurance and control for oil and gas fabrication and field projects. This role requires extensive experience in managing quality processes, particularly with Saudi Aramco standards, ensuring all work complies with regulatory and customer requirements across fabrication and site operations.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will take charge of planning and executing QA/QC activities for mechanical scopes within oil and gas projects. Responsibilities include developing and updating quality plans, procedures, and inspection/test plans. You will manage quality documentation and ensure timely submittal of Saudi Aramco related documents. Coordination with clients, subcontractors, and third-party inspectors regarding quality issues will be essential. Additionally, conducting audits, inspections, and hold point checks to maintain compliance and reporting on quality performance metrics will be critical. Addressing and resolving any nonconformance will also be part of the role.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• At least 10 years of quality assurance and control experience within oil and gas fabrication and site works.
• Demonstrated expertise in Saudi Aramco quality systems, documentation, and approval processes.
• Strong knowledge of industry codes, inspection techniques, and standards applicable to mechanical works.
• Excellent communication skills with proficiency in quality reporting and documentation.
