Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer with solid experience in industrial maintenance, mechanical design, and handling heavy equipment. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic production or plant environment, focusing on equipment optimization, fabrication, and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, modifying, and enhancing mechanical systems to improve their performance, reliability, and safety. This includes hands-on work with cranes, hydraulic systems, pipe handling machinery, conveyors, and custom-built equipment. Taking engineering concepts through to practical execution, including preparing bills of materials and coordinating with workshop teams, will be central to this role.

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD, including 3D modeling and detailed fabrication drawings
• Experience in designing and developing mechanical components and systems
• Hands-on familiarity with hydraulic systems and rotating equipment
• Knowledge of workshop practices such as CNC machining, welding, and assembly
• Ability to diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions with practical engineering solutions
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges
