Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team at the project site in Dammam. Reporting directly to the Project Manager and Mechanical Lead, this role involves overseeing mechanical site execution with a focus on HVAC, piping, plumbing, firefighting, and equipment installation. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing site activities, interpreting mechanical drawings, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success.

Key Responsibilities

The Mechanical Engineer will be entrusted with several critical project tasks, including:

• Preparing Bill of Quantities (BOQ) aligned with approved mechanical drawings and specifications.
• Reviewing and accurately interpreting mechanical drawings, layouts, P&IDs, isometrics, and technical specifications.
• Executing mechanical works on-site, covering HVAC, piping, plumbing, firefighting systems, and equipment installations.
• Managing site preparation activities such as material planning, manpower allocation, and scheduling work sequences.
• Supervising installation works to ensure adherence to approved designs, standards, and quality benchmarks.
• Collaborating with electrical, civil, and other relevant disciplines to facilitate seamless project progress.
• Preparing material take-offs and raising material requisitions accurately and timely.
• Monitoring site progress, productivity levels, and workmanship quality to maintain project timelines.
• Supporting testing, commissioning, and system handover processes effectively.
• Enforcing strict adherence to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and company safety protocols.
• Generating daily and weekly progress reports while assisting with as-built documentation.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:

• Minimum of 2 to 5 years of proven experience in mechanical site execution, preferably within EPC or construction projects.
• Proficiency in preparing Bill of Quantities and conducting detailed quantity take-offs.
• Strong capability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, P&IDs, and project specifications.
• Hands-on site supervision experience, ensuring high-quality execution standards.
• Knowledgeable in relevant mechanical codes and industry standards.
• Effective communication and coordination skills to work across diverse teams.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD is preferred, enhancing drawing interpretation and planning accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on industrial, commercial, or infrastructure projects is advantageous.
• Understanding of testing and commissioning procedures to support project completion phases.
• Ability to work independently in dynamic site conditions and prioritize tasks efficiently.
