Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our project team in Dammam. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in infrastructure pipeline works and be available for immediate start. This role involves close interaction with consultants, subcontractors, and site teams to ensure smooth project execution and quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities

The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for material take-offs based on Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and construction drawings. You will supervise on-site installation of storm water and sewer lines, ensuring all work meets project standards. Preparing and reviewing Method Statements and Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) is a critical part of this role. Additionally, the engineer will raise and close Work Inspection Requests (WIRs), as well as prepare Material Approval Requests (MARs) and Material Inspection Requests (MIRs). Conducting technical coordination meetings and following up on mechanical quality control inspections are essential tasks.

Qualifications and Requirements

Candidates should have at least five years of relevant experience, preferably with exposure to infrastructure pipeline projects. Strong documentation skills and the ability to coordinate effectively with multiple stakeholders are essential. A practical understanding of site execution and quality control procedures will be highly valuable in this position.

Location and Joining

This position is based in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, with immediate joiners being preferred for swift project integration.
