Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer with 5 to 8 years of experience in industrial electrical design and engineering. This role is based in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, and focuses on designing low voltage (LV) and medium voltage (MV) electrical distribution systems. If you have a strong background in electrical load calculations and power distribution planning within industrial or energy facilities, this opportunity could be a great fit.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing comprehensive electrical designs, including single line diagrams, wiring layouts, and component sizing. You will perform load demand analysis and plan power distribution systems, ensuring compliance with international and local standards such as IEC, NEC, and Saudi electrical codes. Designing earthing and grounding systems for industrial setups will also be part of your core tasks.

In addition to system design, you will prepare detailed technical documentation including cable and panel schedules, review vendor drawings for adherence to specifications, and assist with engineering deliverables like bills of quantities and calculation sheets. Coordination with multidisciplinary teams including mechanical, instrumentation, and process engineers is essential for integrated project success.

Throughout the project lifecycle, you will offer technical support during procurement, installation, and commissioning phases, and help troubleshoot any electrical issues that arise on site.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience in industrial electrical system design and engineering.
• Proficiency in electrical load calculations, LV and MV system design, and industrial power distribution networks.
• Experience with electrical design software such as AutoCAD Electrical, ETAP, Dialux, or equivalent.
• Thorough knowledge of IEC standards, protection coordination techniques, and power system calculations.
• Previous work in industrial plants, process units, or energy facilities is highly desirable.
