Job Overview

Lam Construction Industry Co. is seeking a skilled Lead Instrument Engineer for a preventive maintenance project focused on Custody Metering Skids with Saudi Aramco in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. This role is offered on a rental basis and demands strong technical expertise and hands-on experience with instrumentation related to gas measurement and control systems.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will take a lead role in overseeing instrumentation tasks within the project, ensuring all preventive maintenance activities meet stringent quality and safety standards. Responsibilities include troubleshooting instrumentation issues, supervising technical teams, and ensuring precise calibration and functionality of Custody Metering Systems and Gas Chromatographs (GC). The engineer will also handle the setup and maintenance of flow computers, HART communications, and analyzer systems aligned with project specifications.

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation, Electronics, or Control Engineering.
• Between 5 to 7 years of hands-on experience in relevant instrumentation engineering roles.
• Proven expertise with Custody Metering Systems and Gas Chromatographs.
• Strong background in Instrument Calibration, Flow Computer management, HART Communication, and Analyzer Systems.
• Previous experience working on Saudi Aramco projects is highly advantageous.
• Excellent troubleshooting capabilities combined with solid technical supervisory skills.
• Valid Saudi Arabian Iqama and eligibility under the Ajeer program.

Preferred Certifications

• Saudi Aramco Approval certification.
• H2S Awareness training.
• Work Permit Receiver certification.
• Safety certifications such as OSHA or NEBOSH.
• OEM or Analyzer-specific certifications.
