Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Telecom Engineer with extensive experience working within ARAMCO communication networks. The ideal candidate will bring in-depth knowledge of ARAMCO standards and demonstrate expertise in fiber optic cable (FOC) patching and testing, as well as network configuration and management.

Key Responsibilities

The Telecom Engineer will focus on maintaining and optimizing ARAMCO communication infrastructure. Responsibilities include:

• Performing OSP fiber optic cable patching and testing using tools like OTDR, power meters, and lasers.
• Configuring and integrating network communication devices at Layer 1 and 2 to support SCADA, remote telemetry units, and ensuring operational redundancy.
• Managing and securing various switches and routers, including MOXA and CISCO devices.
• Implementing ARAMCO Network Ring protection strategies to maximize network reliability.
• Configuring VLANs with proper tagging to optimize network segmentation and security.

Required Skills and Experience

• Demonstrated experience with ARAMCO communication network standards and operations.
• Strong background in fiber optic cable patching and diagnostic testing using specialized equipment.
• Proficient in network communication configuration and integration, especially Layer 1 and Layer 2 technologies.
• Expertise in configuring, hardening, and managing switches and routers, particularly MOXA and CISCO models.
• Experience with ARAMCO Network Ring protection and VLAN tagging best practices.
