Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer with extensive experience in firefighting systems and related technical projects. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in site execution and the technical aspects of firefighting equipment and installations within construction environments.

Key Responsibilities

The role involves preparing Bills of Quantity (BOQ), quotations, and quantity take-offs based on engineering drawings. You will be responsible for conducting technical calculations and preparing submittals, including material specifications to ensure compliance with industry standards.

Maintaining strong coordination with clients, suppliers, and project teams is essential to ensure smooth project execution. You will also monitor supplier markets for firefighting, waterproofing, and construction materials to help optimize procurement processes.

Required Skills and Experience

• In-depth knowledge of firefighting systems and their site implementation procedures
• Proficiency in preparing BOQ, quotations, and quantity take-offs through engineering drawings
• Experience in technical submittals and accurate material specification preparation
• Familiarity with suppliers and market sources for firefighting and construction-related materials
• Strong technical capability combined with commercial awareness
• Excellent communication and coordination skills for effective stakeholder management

Employment Details

This position is project-based initially, with the possibility of transitioning into a long-term, full-time role depending on performance and mutual agreement.
