Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Estimation Engineer to join our dynamic team in Dammam. This role focuses on accurately estimating project costs for tenders within the civil, infrastructure, and building sectors. The successful candidate will report directly to the Business Development Manager and play a crucial role in supporting the business development efforts.

Key Responsibilities

The Estimation Engineer will be responsible for carefully reviewing tender documents and evaluating drawings and project schedules. Key duties include requesting and following up on quotations from suppliers and manufacturers, conducting comparison analyses, and negotiating terms both technically and commercially. The role also involves performing value engineering studies to align proposals with budget limitations, maintaining an updated supplier database, and overseeing quantity take-offs. Additionally, the engineer will prepare comprehensive pricing for infrastructure and building projects and assist in assembling tender submissions and pre-qualification documents.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is mandatory; candidates without this qualification will not be considered.
• Between 3 to 5 years of experience in estimation, specifically related to civil, infrastructure, or building projects.
• Strong ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Proven negotiation and communication skills for supplier interactions.
• Excellent organizational skills for managing tender documents and supplier databases.
