Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Equipment Engineer to join the SEC Power Plant project located in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in mechanical or electrical engineering, particularly those with hands-on experience in power plant or industrial settings.

Key Responsibilities

The Equipment Engineer will be responsible for supervising the installation, alignment, and commissioning of various plant equipment. This includes reviewing technical drawings, datasheets, and vendor documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance. Close coordination with construction, quality control, and commissioning teams is essential to guarantee equipment is handled, stored, and installed properly. The candidate will also play a key role in inspections, working alongside clients and QC teams to secure necessary approvals. Additionally, managing technical documentation such as RFIs and reports and troubleshooting equipment during installation and commissioning will be critical elements of this position.

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years experience working in power plant or industrial project environments.
• Comprehensive knowledge of both rotating and static equipment.
• Proficient in the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of plant equipment.
• Familiarity with pumps, compressors, heat exchangers, valves, and related mechanical systems.
• Understanding of SEC standards is preferred.
• Strong communication skills in English, enabling effective collaboration.
