Job Overview

DACO is seeking a motivated and skilled Architectural Engineer, exclusively Saudi nationals, to join our expanding team in Dammam. This role is integral to overseeing architectural activities on key infrastructure and development projects across Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will ensure all architectural works meet the highest standards, comply with local regulations, and align with project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

The Architectural Engineer will be responsible for:

• Reviewing and coordinating architectural drawings to harmonize with civil, structural, and MEP systems.
• Supervising on-site architectural operations to guarantee compliance with approved plans and quality standards.
• Evaluating material submittals, shop drawings, and finishing samples for conformity.
• Ensuring all work adheres to project specifications, safety protocols, and the Saudi Building Code (SBC).
• Monitoring construction progress and preparing detailed technical and progress reports.
• Collaborating with project managers, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure timely project execution.
• Conducting site inspections to control quality of architectural finishing works.
• Providing support in resolving design and execution issues encountered during the project lifecycle.
• Participating actively in project meetings to foster continuous improvement within the team.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering or Architecture.
• Must be a Saudi National with active membership in the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE).
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience in construction site supervision.
• Thorough knowledge of the Saudi Building Code and local construction standards.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office; familiarity with Revit/BIM is a plus.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.
• Flexibility to work at multiple project locations throughout the Kingdom.
