Job Overview

Join Alrouf AI Factory as an AI Integrations Engineer, where you’ll contribute to building cutting-edge automation solutions, starting with the innovative Smart Quotation Engine. This role involves developing seamless integrations and automations that streamline quoting and operational workflows. You can work remotely with preferred time-zone alignment to Saudi Arabia or opt for a hybrid setup based in Dammam.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering robust, production-grade automation and integration projects. Your primary tasks will include:

• Designing and deploying automations using platforms like Zapier, Make, or Workato to handle RFQ intake processes, CRM updates, and notification systems.
• Integrating a variety of applications such as Salesforce, Odoo/ERP systems, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, WhatsApp/Twilio, and Slack or Microsoft Teams.
• Developing Python microservices with FastAPI, including writing OpenAPI documentation, testing, and Docker containerization.
• Setting up a lightweight Data Lake using Google Sheets, Drive, and cloud storage, implementing scheduled ETL jobs with monitoring capabilities.
• Building and maintaining a bilingual knowledge base (Arabic and English) for internal documents using retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) technology.
• Managing security aspects such as OAuth authentication, secret management, observability, and tracking usage with cost control in mind.

Required Skills

Ideal candidates should meet the following criteria:

• At least three years of hands-on experience delivering automation and integration solutions.
• Expertise in Python 3.x, RESTful APIs with , version control using Git, and containerization with Docker.
• Proficient with OpenAI API and familiarity with frameworks such as LangChain or LlamaIndex.
• Strong experience using Zapier or Make for complex workflows, including multi-step automations, webhooks, and error handling procedures.
• Practical knowledge of integrating Salesforce, Odoo, or equivalent ERP/CRM platforms.
• Excellent command of written English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
• Ability to work within a time zone overlapping Saudi Arabia by plus or minus three hours.

Preferred Qualifications

Additional skills that will enhance your application include:

• Familiarity with vector databases such as FAISS, Chroma, or pgvector.
• Experience with SQL databases like PostgreSQL.
• Exposure to cloud services including Google Cloud Platform (GCP), AWS, or Azure.
• Knowledge of continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Basic front-end skills using React or Vue frameworks.
