Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Captain Waiter to lead our waitstaff team in Dammam. This role involves supervising daily restaurant operations to ensure guests receive excellent customer service and timely food and beverage delivery. The ideal candidate will have proven leadership abilities, a strong grasp of hospitality standards, and the flexibility to work during peak hours.

Key Responsibilities

As a Captain Waiter, you will oversee the efforts of the service team and ensure smooth dining experiences by:

• Managing the daily activities of waitstaff and assigning tables and service stations efficiently
• Greeting guests warmly and ensuring their satisfaction throughout their visit
• Taking and supervising orders when necessary to maintain service flow
• Coordinating with the kitchen to guarantee prompt and accurate order delivery
• Addressing guest concerns professionally and resolving any issues calmly
• Training and supporting both new hires and existing staff to maintain high service standards
• Maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in the dining environment
• Monitoring inventory of service supplies and reporting any shortages promptly
• Ensuring all team members follow restaurant policies, hygiene regulations, and safety protocols

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Valid transferable Iqama, preferably in Jeddah for attending face-to-face interviews
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a Captain Waiter or equivalent supervisory position
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic restaurant environment
• Professional appearance and a positive, proactive attitude
• Thorough knowledge of food and beverage service standards
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
• Proficiency in English is required; additional languages are a plus
