Job Overview

We are currently looking for a skilled Civil Engineer with 5 to 7 years of professional experience in industrial, infrastructure, or oil and gas projects. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of Supreme Commission for Industrial Security (SCIS) and High Commission for Industrial Security (HCIS) standards, alongside hands-on expertise in Stage 3 (Detailed Design) engineering. Experience working on projects for leading organizations such as Saudi Aramco, SABIC, or Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) is highly advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and reviewing detailed civil engineering designs and deliverables at Stage 3. This includes developing civil and structural design drawings, calculations, specifications, as well as construction details compliant with SCIS/HCIS regulations and the Saudi Building Code (SBC). Coordination with multiple disciplines such as architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and ICT teams will be essential.

Additional duties involve reviewing design packages, vendor drawings, and material submittals while conducting technical evaluations and quantity take-offs. Providing technical support during construction phases, performing inspections, and addressing engineering and construction-related challenges are also critical parts of this role. Participation in design reviews, safety meetings like HAZID/HAZOP, and client interactions will be expected to ensure project requirements are met on time and within quality standards.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• 5 to 7 years of relevant industrial, infrastructure, or oil and gas project experience.
• Proven track record with SCIS/HCIS security regulations and detailed design engineering.
• Strong familiarity with Saudi Building Code, ACI, AISC, ASTM, and related industry standards.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office; experience with Civil 3D, STAAD.Pro, ETABS, SAFE, or similar software is a plus.
• Ability to produce accurate engineering calculations, design reports, Bill of Quantities (BOQs), and other technical documentation.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Prior experience on projects for Saudi Aramco, SABIC, SEC, or comparable clients preferred.

Preferred Skills

• In-depth knowledge of industrial security design requirements for critical infrastructure projects.
• Experience collaborating within multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Familiarity with quality management systems and effective document control processes.
• Capacity to manage multiple engineering assignments while adhering to deadlines.
• A solid understanding of construction methodologies, site operations, and engineering best practices.
