Job Overview

Al Asayel Advance Importing & Trading Factory, based in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join their dynamic finance team. This role requires a skilled professional capable of handling comprehensive accounting responsibilities with precision and adherence to regulatory standards. The position offers a competitive salary between 6,500 and 7,000 SAR, with working hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Sunday through Thursday, while Fridays are off.

Key Responsibilities

The Senior Accountant will be in charge of managing daily accounting activities and ensuring the accuracy of all financial documentation. Essential duties include maintaining and reconciling general ledger accounts, preparing timely month-end and year-end financial statements, and managing accounts payable and receivable functions. The role also involves overseeing petty cash processes, monitoring company expenses, conducting bank reconciliations, and forecasting cash flow needs.

Additional responsibilities include managing inventory accounting and stock reconciliation, ensuring compliance with Saudi VAT and Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) regulations, and assisting with budgeting and financial planning. The Senior Accountant will also support both internal and external audit processes, strengthen internal controls, and provide insightful financial analysis to assist management’s decision-making.

Required Qualifications

To qualify for this role, candidates must hold a full accounting certification from one of the following recognized bodies: CPA (Certified Public Accountant), CA (Chartered Accountant), or ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants). Candidates with pending exams or incomplete certifications will not be considered. Only fully certified professionals will be shortlisted for this opportunity.
