Job Overview

A prominent restaurant company is currently looking to hire a skilled General Accountant to join their finance team. This role involves managing financial records, ensuring accurate reporting, and supporting accounting operations within the food and beverage sector. The position is based in Riyadh, specifically in the Al-Taawun district, and requires a candidate with strong knowledge of accounting systems and sector-specific financial practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain journal entries and conduct periodic account reconciliations.
• Manage accounting adjustments and assist in closing final accounts accurately and on schedule.
• Handle sales accounting, including delivery company sales under the food and beverage umbrella.
• Oversee VAT accounting to ensure compliance with tax regulations.
• Support payroll accounting activities effectively.
• Utilize ERP and Odoo accounting systems for daily financial operations.

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum 5 to 7 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably within food and beverage companies.
• Proven track record of using ERP and Odoo systems for accounting tasks for at least five years.
• Strong understanding of sales and delivery company accounting processes.
• Experienced in VAT and payroll accounting management.
• Ability to prepare detailed journal entries and conduct thorough account reconciliations.
• Competent in making accounting adjustments and finalizing accounts.

Requirements

• Resident accountant with a valid residency permit currently based in Riyadh.
• Experience in the food and beverage sector, especially working with restaurant or delivery sales accounting.
