Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will play a crucial part in driving revenue through a comprehensive sales process. Your main duties include:
- Identifying and targeting potential exhibitors, sponsors, and partners across various industries to grow the client portfolio.
- Effectively marketing and selling exhibition stand packages and sponsorship opportunities to achieve and surpass quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Managing the entire sales cycle from initial prospecting and tailoring proposals to negotiating contracts and closing deals.
- Developing and sustaining strong relationships with decision-makers, international agents, and current clients to encourage repeat business.
- Designing targeted sales strategies and preparing persuasive proposals while closely monitoring the sales pipeline to maximize conversion rates.
- Working alongside event organizers to accommodate client specifications, especially concerning floor plans and booth placements.
- Providing regular sales reports, forecasting revenue, and contributing onsite support during events when required.
Required Skills and Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess a proven background in exhibition or B2B event sales, including:
- A minimum of five years’ experience selling exhibition stands or event sponsorships with a track record of closing high-value deals.
- A robust network within the Bahrain, GCC, or broader Middle East business landscape.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills to engage and influence key stakeholders effectively.
