GVS Cargo & Logistics, a leading name in the transport, shipping, and logistics industry with over 20 years of expertise, is seeking Air and Ocean Freight Sales Executives to join their dynamic sales team. With a strong global presence spanning four countries, the company emphasizes personalized service and aims to be a strategic logistics partner for its clients.

Key Responsibilities

The Sales Executive will play a crucial role within the sales office, focusing on expanding and maintaining the client portfolio for both air and ocean shipping services. Key duties include:

• Conducting thorough market research to identify new business opportunities
• Quoting and selling transportation and freight forwarding services to prospective and existing clients
• Collaborating closely with internal teams such as the Branch Manager, Operations Supervisor, and Division Director
• Acquiring new customers while nurturing and managing ongoing client relationships to ensure satisfaction and loyalty

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Diploma or higher educational qualification
• Minimum of 3 years’ proven experience in Air & Ocean Import/Export sales within freight forwarding companies
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, at an intermediate level
• Familiarity with IATA cargo regulations and Dangerous Goods (DG) handling is an advantage
• Proficiency in English is essential; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is a plus

Work Location and Contract Details

This position is available in Bahrain and the UAE. The role offers a permanent contract under the CCNL Logistics, Freight Transport, and Shipping classification.
